Accommodations

There are four (4) vaca­tion rental units at Hid­den River.  All together they can accom­mo­date up to 55 guests in beds or sleeper sofas. We find that the aver­age num­ber of guests stay­ing onsite is around 40 peo­ple.  Rent­ing these accom­mo­da­tions allows you to have extended time on our prop­erty and more fun with fam­ily and friends who have gath­ered to cel­e­brate your wed­ding with you. Our clients have been very pleased with the kind ser­vice and the great value we offer to them. One rea­son why we are able to offer such inclu­sive pack­ages at rea­son­able rates is because of these on-site accom­mo­da­tions.  Some clients have their guests reim­burse them for the cost of the hous­ing and we can help to facil­i­tate this for you.

The onsite hous­ing is spa­cious, neat and taste­fully dec­o­rated. Kitchens are fully stocked and all bed and bath linens are sup­plied.  It’s the per­fect set­ting for imme­di­ate rel­a­tives to gather and/or for young friends from around the coun­try to uti­lize while they visit Asheville and cel­e­brate with you. If you con­tract with us, we will pro­vide you with a floor plan for each home, detailed with exactly what sized beds are in each room, etc.

Since we are located adja­cent to War­ren Wil­son Col­lege, we have access to their over 25 miles of hik­ing trails, directly from our prop­erty.  It is not unusual to see cou­ples gath­er­ing on a Fri­day morn­ing for a hike, or play­ing base­ball in the field on a Sat­ur­day morn­ing.  Some brides begin their wed­ding days stand­ing on their heads, as we have access to onsite yoga instructors.

The Crag­gie House

There are four bed­rooms and a sleep­ing porch with 3 full baths (one with a tub/shower, two with show­ers).  Two of the bed­rooms have two dou­ble beds, and one of these has an addi­tional sofa.  Two bed­rooms have one dou­ble bed and the sleep­ing porch has four twin beds.  The Liv­ing Room has a sleeper sofa and a com­fort­able recliner chair.  This unit sleeps six­teen (19) guests.  TV and VCR (with basic cable) and wire­less inter­net access, are avail­able, along with place set­tings (glass plates, bowls, ball jar glasses, and glass cof­fee mugs) for 20 guests, with linens, pil­lows, and bath tow­els for nine­teen (19) guests.  The side yard of this home is fre­quently used for small onsite rehearsal din­ners or bridal show­ers, etc. for up to 42 peo­ple.  The front porch can accom­mo­date that many peo­ple for a seated meal, should weather be pro­hib­i­tive for the rehearsal din­ner, etc.

The Over­look Apart­ment (10person capacity)

There are two bed­rooms and one full bath (shower only).  One bed­room has two dou­ble beds, the other has one dou­ble bed and a twin bed.  The liv­ing room has a sleeper sofa and a roll-away bed, for a total of ten (10) guests.  This unit comes with cof­fee maker, microwave, TV and VCR (no cable), place set­tings (glass plates, bowls, ball jar glasses, and glass cof­fee mugs) for 10 guests, with linens, pil­lows, and bath tow­els for 10 guests.  There are also pots, pans, etc. for cooking.

The Bridal Studio

If avail­able (might not be known until closer to event date), client can also reserve the Bridal Chang­ing stu­dio that is on the first floor of this unit.  It has two sleeper sofas, a din­ing table, linens, tow­els, and pil­lows for four.  There is an iron­ing board and iron.  There are no food prepa­ra­tion items, plates or dishes in this unit.

The Wind­song House

(6 per­son capacity)

There are two bed­rooms.  One has a queen bed, the other has a dou­ble bed.  The Liv­ing Room has a twin-sized day bed and a twin trun­dle bed,  bring­ing this unit to a six (6) per­son capac­ity.  Unit comes with cof­fee maker, microwave, cable TV and VCR, with wire­less inter­net access.  The kitchen is fully equipped for cook­ing and has place set­tings (glass plates, bowls, ball jar glasses, and glass cof­fee mugs) for 10 guests.  Bed­rooms have  linens, pil­lows, and bath tow­els for six (6) guests.

The Field House

(16 per­son capacity)

There are three bed­rooms.  One bed­room has two dou­ble beds, another has one dou­ble bed, and the last one has 1 twin and 1 dou­ble bed.  There are three sleeper sofas and one roll-away bed in the liv­ing room. The total capac­ity for this unit is six­teen (16) guests.  Unit comes with cof­fee maker, microwave, TV and VCR (no cable at present).   The kitchen is fully equipped for cook­ing and has place set­tings (glass plates, bowls, ball jar glasses, and glass cof­fee mugs) for 20 guests.  Bed­rooms have linens, pil­lows, and bath tow­els for six­teen (16) guests.
